I'm non Muslim but have been living in the Middle East for 7 years now. I also fast most of the day, mostly because the people I work with are Muslim and they are fasting. I think the Muslims in the Middle East have it a lot easier when fasting then any Muslim in the west. Its the emptiest feeling ever. I suggest you make a community of friends and socialise more (have iftaar together) etc. Its not the same, trust me I know, but it helps a tiny wee bit.
