I was really AMAZED when i read the post… as it did not make much sense…. as the post said “so you can get GPS Navigation without spending one heck of a load of cash on GPS specific phones!” … thats practically impossible unless off course you are doing triangulation, and with that its not reliable enough for directions.
I think the APP just works with a normal GPS and if you dont have one you can select your position on the map and get directions from there… not amazing at all.
Well… I don’t know of any other applications which give an option of using GPS on a normal cellphone. Even if the idea is simple, it’s a good idea. I agree triangulation and all that can’t really work though…
I give the mobile industry five years and GPS will be as ubiquitous as SMS anyway.
