We all give off pheromones, which have different chemical make-ups, that tell people around us subconsciously whether we have a similar immune system to them or not. People with a more different immune system than others to ourselves have a more attractive scent. This is part of the evolutional pre-programmed instincts – to choose a mating partner with a more varied immune system to our own so that the offspring have an even stronger immune system. Cool huh?
